Intakes at the University of Adelaide

With multiple major and minor intakes throughout the year, the University of Adelaide gives liberty to choose the suitable time for beginning the academic journey. Cost to study at the University of Adelaide

The cost of studying at the University of Adelaide depends on varied factors such as the chosen study program, course type, and level of study. International applicants are required to pay University of Adelaide fee, which differs from that of Australian applicants. They may be required to pay University of Adelaide Application Fee as well based on the programs they are applying to. The tuition fees are calculated according to the chosen discipline of study which vary between the Faculties and Schools whereas the fees can also vary within the Faculties and Schools. 


Once students receive offer of admission, they need to pay 50% of their first-year tuition fees to confirm their seat. This payment will be applied to the tuition fees for the first semester. After enrolment, students will be invoiced for the remaining fees.

Scholarships

The University of Adelaide is committed to supporting international students with generous scholarships to make quality education more accessible. With a variety of scholarships, including merit-based, subject-specific, research-specific, and departmental scholarships, eligible students can find financial support for both postgraduate and undergraduate studies. These University of Adelaide scholarships mostly cover partial or full tuition fees. Other than these regular categories the University of Adelaide also provides certain exclusive categories of scholarships like Alumni International Scholarship and Family International Scholarship. Admissions

The University of Adelaide has general and program-specific admission requirements at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. Students who meet the University of Adelaide admissions requirements, may receive credit for previous studies or work experience as well. The University offers a conditional offer letter where students are expected to meet certain requirements upon which they are given the Offer of Admission. These may include providing the proof of English Language Proficiency, successful completion of Academic Qualification and submission of the official documents. Applicants must possess a recognised undergraduate degree from an accredited institution or have an equivalent qualification.

✅University of Adelaide accepts score of the popular IELTS, PTE and TOEFL iBT. 
✅The required score for IELTS is 6.5 with no band less than 6.
✅For TOEFL iBT, the minimum score of 90 is required with at least 22 in each section. 
✅The overall score needed for PTE is 65 with no score less than 54.

For a few selected courses, there may be additional requirements like work experience, submission of a portfolio, research proposal, or appearing for the interviews.

✅Minimum academic requirements vary from program to program.

The University of Adelaide’s placements cell aims at preparing students for their professional careers and connecting them with industry and employers.
