Intakes

There are three UTS intakes for international students. It is essential to submit applications within the specified deadlines as per UTS Australia intakes. Applications received after the deadline are deferred to the next available intake. Additionally, some programs may have specific deadlines as well, so it is advisable to check in advance.

This is a major intake that marks the beginning of the academic year, occurring in late summer to early autumn. Most programs accept applications for this intake, making it the primary entry point for students.

This is also a major intake and is held in winter to early spring. This mid-year intake provides another opportunity for students to commence their studies at UTS.

Cost to Study at University of Technology Sydney

UTS Australia Fees for international students vary between courses, and from year to year.  Fees needs to be paid in advance for each teaching period. Apart from tuition fees, students are also required to pay the student services and amenities fee. Tuition fee payments can be made through various payment methods.
 

Wherever a third party is paying the fees, students need to make sure that the payments are done on time. Furthermore, International students are protected by the Tuition Protection Service, which ensures that the University of Technology Sydney fees are either received or refunded, if necessary, under Australian Government legislation. Scholarships at University of Technology Sydney

UTS Scholarships for international students in Australia vary based on factors such as country of citizenship, academic achievements, and chosen degrees. Most UTS scholarships do not require a separate application.
 

Eligible students are automatically assessed and awarded scholarships if they meet the criteria. Admission Requirement

UTS entry requirements for international students are both general and program-specific. For students meeting UTS admission requirements, the University may grant credit recognition for prior academic qualifications or relevant work experience, allowing them to substitute certain subjects within their course plan. The academic requirements for PG programs at UTS are categorized into three sections based on the kind of institution applicants complete their Bachelor’s degree from.
✅ Section 1 Institutions require a minimum of 55%
✅ Section 2 Institutions require a minimum of 60%
✅ Section 3 Institutions require a minimum of 65%

PTE: Overall score of 58-64, with a minimum writing score of 50
IELTS: Overall score of 6.5, with no band lower than 6
