Intakes to Study at Dublin City University

There are usually two intakes in Ireland to consider, and so is for Dublin City University. Students can do the applications in the September or the January intake. It’s important to note that if a student has already applied for the January intake and wishes to be considered for the September intake or vice versa, they must withdraw their previous application by emailing the university. Dublin City University application deadline varies as per the intakes. 

This is the primary intake, welcoming most undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applications for this Autumn intake are generally accepted on a rolling basis, depending on seat availability.

Cost to Study at DCU

Dublin City University tuition fees for international students varies depending on the programme type. Non-EU applicants are prompted to pay the fees as part of the Registration and Enrolment Journey. Students are mostly required to pay the full fee for their programme within four weeks of the offer date. If the fees are being funded by an employer, they need to fill in an external funding or employer funding form.

Admission Requirement

The International Assessment Team at Dublin City University handles applications for students with non-EU qualifications. Those applying for Post-graduate or Undergraduate admissions at Dublin City University with non-EU qualifications need to submit their applications through the Central Applications Office (CAO).
 

Applicants for post-graduation must complete their submissions through Dublin City University's Student Application Portal. The admission requirements may vary based on nationality.
