Overview

The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) is renowned for over six decades of academic excellence, with origins dating back to 1837 when it was  initially established as Flint Senior College. Its foundation was influenced by Ann Arbor resident Sarah C. Miles Case, and it became a fully recognized institution in 1956. Today, UM-Flint is a prominent part of the University of Michigan system, alongside its Ann Arbor and Dearborn campuses.
 

Located in the heart of Michigan, the University of Michigan Flint campus is situated in the ‘Vehicle City.’ Starting with just 167 students, UM-Flint has become a vibrant community of over 32,000 learners from around the world. As one of the five Doctoral/Professional Universities in the state, it provides top-tier education and a robust academic community, making it a premier choice for students seeking to study in US.
